Our Patient’s Stories and Feedback
We Encourage Open Communication & Feedback
You may have noticed a recurring theme within our website messaging, one in which we hold in high regard, and one in which, we believe plays an integral role in supporting an optimal patient-care provider relationship: Open & Honest Communication. Technology and increased demands for our time and attention have effected our culture in a way that can easily be measured by the amount of respect we place on communicating with each other as well as the quality and effectiveness in which we do it.
By opening the door, inviting and encouraging open communication between our patients, doctors, hygienists, and office team, we are able to not only establish more meaningful and long lasting relationships, but also glean helpful information in the form of constructive feedback, that may otherwise go unmentioned. Obviously, we accept and listen to everything and anything our patients wish to share and when our attention is re-focused on an area of our practice that shows sign for improvement, we address the concern as a team.
Below you will find a selection of stories our patients have shared over the years. We are proud to have served each one and very thankful each individual found the level of care we provide to be satisfactory.
Dr. Abrass has excellent chair-side manners. I needed a root canal redone, on an emergency basis. Dr. Abrass gave me a clear diagnosis of the problem, and explained the necessary procedure in a way that instantly put me at ease. The procedure itself was painless, and the result exceeded my expectations.
Dr. Abrass did my Root canal: what an excellent job he did, no pain and complete comfort. He explained everything in details and demonstrated complete knowledge of his specialty. To top it all, he is classy and compassionate. This is a doctor that makes your root canal experience pleasant.
I was referred to Dr. Abrass after having a tooth prepared for a crown. I couldn't bite on the tooth although it didn't hurt otherwise, and was sent to Dr. Abrass to see if I needed a root canal before getting the permanent crown. Dr. Abrass was very honest and kind. He told me to wait a few weeks first to see if my tooth nerve healed. I am a borderline case and many other endodonists would have simply gone ahead with a root canal. He is playing it safe still by monitoring it and taking other precautions, but he won't do the procedure unless it's absolutely necessary, while still playing it safe! Cheers for a good, totally honest Endodontist!
Dr. Abrass not only took care of the infected root canal; he also was able to save the previous crown. He was easily accessible by phone, to answer my pre and post-care questions, and overall demonstrated a heightened sense of patient care. I highly recommend Dr. Abrass, both for his professional skills, as well as his personal demeanor.
